Senior CaD Modeler
Job Summary
Responsible for leading a CAD modelling team for Gas Turbine components.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for creating component design definition (2D/3D CAD drawing/models).
Create engine layout including documentation and specification for parts and assemblies.
Mentor a team of modelers to deliver component and engine layout drawings.
Work with cross-functional teams and manufacturing specialists for tolerance definition, interface management and assembly procedure for seamless integration of components, sub-systems and systems.
Provide modelling support to component owner throughout the part design and analysis cycle.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a Diploma or Engineering degree in Mechanical or a closely related field with a strong foundation in Engineering drawings, CAD and machine design.
10+ years of industrial experience in gas turbine component modelling.
Expertise in 2D/3D modelling software such as Unigraphics or similar.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
Experience of independently developing designs using CAD Tools (such as UG) for Modeling, Drafting
People or project leadership experience with team strength of 5+ members.

Job Summary
Lead mechanical component design team responsible for design, stress and lifing analysis for various components for Micro gas turbine. Responsible for mechanical integrity, component service life verification and certification strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead team to execute component design and structural analysis to meet the functional, product service life and certification requirement.
Drive collaboration between mechanical design teams, other cross-functional teams, including manufacturing to achieve the right quality of parts within target cost.
Responsible for component design definition (2D/3D CAD drawing/models) release and collaboration with supply chain for manufacturing, production support and part qualification.
Responsible for interface management and assembly procedures for seamless integration of components, sub-systems and systems.
Responsible for development of various test rigs and engine prototypes to support the testing, verification and certification.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field with a strong theoretical foundation in machine design, structural mechanics and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
8+ years of industrial experience in gas turbine component design, stress and lifing analysis.
Expertise in component lifing analysis- HCF, LCF, creep and oxidation.
In-depth knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
Expertise in 3D modelling software and ANSYS or similar.
Experience on flutter, forced response analysis and vibration will be added advantage.
Familiarity with system engineering and robust design principles.

Responsible for conceptualization, design, stress and lifing analysis for various components of turbine module of Micro gas turbine.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical design and analysis of turbine module i.e. vane, blade, disk and shrouds of turbine.
Mentor component designers to execute structural analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimum design.
Responsible for component design definition (2D/3D CAD drawing/models ) release and driving “design for manufacturing approach” in collaboration manufacturing supply chain.
Work with cross-functional teams and manufacturing specialists for tolerance stack-up, interface management and assembly procedure for seamless integration of components, sub-systems and systems.
Support the design and development of test rigs, instrumentation schemes for rig and engine testing.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field with a strong theoretical foundation in machine design, structural mechanics and dynamics, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end engineering activities from design to development in the gas turbine domain. This is a paid internship position with duration between 3 months to 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
Support engineering design and analysis for various components of gas turbine using CFD and FEA tools.
Support rig builds, rig testing and validation.
Qualifications & Experience
Individuals enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related undergraduate program like instrumentation at the 3rd year level or higher, or those in their final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in these fields.
A strong academic foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, structural analysis, mechanical design and turbomachinery.
